The 6th annual Elite Basketball Camp, presented by Showcase Basketball, again brought once-in-a-lifetime experiences for Norwegian basketball players. The special NBA guests this year included former Boston Celtic and NBA Slam Dunk participant Greg Minor, as well as NBA World Champion Chucky Brown. Both coaches not only have high level hplaying backgrounds, but also professional coaching experience at the NBA level, making them ideal candidates to help develop the camp participants.
The 70 Norwegian players were put through extensive, full-day trainings with the NBA coaches on court leading the way. In addition, full-length games took place to allow the players a chance to implement what they learned in live settings.
Showcase Basketball is honored to return to Norway every year to host this great event and annual tradition in the Norwegian basketball community. We look forward to making the 2019 Elite Basketball Camp the best yet!
